No reason to think that he won't be good here and ultra confident to boot. We saw last night what we thought all along. The Red Sox are the superior hitting lineup through the roster and their pitching can beat you 3-1 or 8-4. Ryu gave up 13 hits in 7 2/3 to the Brewers in the NLCS. What will the Red Sox do to him ??? We used the under in this series last night with two pitchers in decent form and cashed easily. Right back tonight with an even more inflated total. San Francisco's Suarez is working on 14 straight scoreless innings over two starts and the Rockies Senzatela is 2-0 with a 1.55 ERA over his L4 starts. The Giants are 9-1 to the under in their L10 overall and Colorado is a 8-3 lowball in its L11 home games. Right back with the Under.

DMack's Free Play for Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in on the Mets/Dodgers Under (Wheeler/Ryu) If the Mets have done one right thing this year, it's been to not panic and keeping pitchers Zach Wheeler and Jacob deGrom. Wheeler is 7-1 with a 1.63 ERA over his L9 starts and he's able to at least give you seven strong to minimize involvement of the Met's pen. Ryu is 5-1 under in his home starts and has good stuff when healthy. The Dodgers are 6-1 under L7 and the starting pitching has been lights out in the first two games of the series. MLB totals of seven and under are cashing at better than 60% in all games on the year.

German Marquez rocks a 1.64 ERA in his L3 starts and his L7 starts have all flown under the total. If starters hold form and the pens don't implode, these two get nowhere near tonight's posted total.

The Cubs have owned the Brewers in recent year and this year is no exception at 9-4. At 20 cents, this one makes perfect sense.

Homer Bailey is 0-5 with a 6.83 ERA in his L5 starts and the Reds are an unbelievable 1-17 in the 18 games he has started for them this year. In fact, Jake Junis has thrown 22 innings at the Tiggers this year allowing just four total earned runs on just 15 hits and with a sweet 3/18 BB/K ratio to boot. DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Oakland A's (Anderson Listed) The Oakland A's are quickly becoming THE story in baseball and with their lineup, will have a puncher's chance if they are able to continue roll into the post-season. Brett Anderson (2-0, 2.84, L3 starts) has found his groove and most importantly for us, he's a lefty and the Halos are just 11-21 vs. Southpaws this year. Without Trout, the Angels are just a .500 team at best. Take the A's.

DMack's Thursday MLB Play of the Day is on the Houston Astros (Verlander Listed) Seattle is in free fall and James Paxton wasn't exactly sharp in his first start back off DL, a 5-1 loss to Toronto. He's back tonight on four days rest and faces a suddenly hot Houston outfit that has won six of seven and sends ace Justin Verlander to the mound with his 1.45 ERA in his L3. Verlander has pitched much better than his support and should be another 3-5 wins in the black. Lay the wood.

DMack's MLB Total of the Week is on the Cards/Marlins Under Really like the under here. Jonathan Gant's numbers are very misleading as they are skewed by a poor start at Pittsburgh in his last outing. Two prior were very good and weak hitting Marlin lineup is just what he needs to get some swagger back. Nothing wrong with Trevor Richards except no run support, 0-1 with a 1.02 ERA L3. Cards three straight Unders, Marlins four straight home Unders. Get it now before the eights become 7 and a hook.

DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Red Sox (Pomeranz listed) Drew Pomeranz (1-5, 6.56) has been Boston's weakest link but not stepping in front of this Red Sox train that has won 8 of 9 and seemingly finding ways to win night in and night out. Stroman has been very ordinary (2-2, 5.32, L4) since coming off the DL and the Jays can do little more than play out the string at this point. Boston is 17-7 L24 on this field so venue not much an edge for the homies. Lay it.

DMack's MLB Play of the Day is on the Houston Astros (Morton Listed) The Astros have won 4 of 5 and are 14-3 in their road series openers this year. I'm still wondering if this is really Charlie Morton or and alien. At 12-2 and rocking a 2.90 ERA, it's hard to believe that this is the same guy who languished it Pittsburgh for many years. The Giants are playing well and need to make a long extended run, especially in division play if they hope to get into woldcard contention. Houston is doing a nice job holding the fort while Correa and Altuve get healthy and prefer the proven commodity. Take the Astros.

DMack's American League Total of the Week is on the Yanks/BoSox Under Tanaka has been lights out (0.00) L2 starts, both wins. He's 8-4 with a 4.19 ERA LT against Boston and might just stop the bleeding here. Price is 2-0 with a 1.64 ERA in his his L4 starts, the fifth one back on July 1st he was pummeled by New York. The Bombers are 6-2 under in their L8 road games while Boston is 9-2 to the under in its L11. The flow and numbers say under with the caveat being that either starter could get lit up. The Yanks REALLY miss Judge in the lineup and it shows. Play the under.
