The 2018-2019 basketball season is going from bad to worse for the Los Angeles Lakers. One day after shutting down Lonzo Ball for the year with an ankle injury, the Lakeshow will also shut down third-year small forward Brandon Ingram with deep venous thrombosis in his right arm. The team has been tight-lipped about the condition but has confirmed that Ingram will miss the rest of the season. The injury, which is more or less a blood clot, usually happens in the legs or lower body but not exclusively. The Lakers are currently 30-36, have lost five straight, and are seven-games out of a playoff spot with 16 games to play.
