Golden State and Houston square off in Game V on Thursday with the series tied at 2-2 after four games. The Rockets regained their home court by shocking the Warriors 95-92 on Thursday, winning the fourth quarter 24-12. It was Golden State’s first home loss at the Oracle Arena and and just the fifth Warrior loss since acquiring Kevin Durant. The Warriors not only relinquished home court but will enter Game V with possible injury issues. Andre Iguodala missed Tuesday’s game with a sore knee and his status is unknown at this writing. Klay Thompson came off the floor with an apparent knee problem and Steph Curry is just getting into game shape after a long stint on the DL. Kevin Durant has carried the Warriors throughout the playoffs with a 29.1, 7.4, 4.3 stat line. The Rockets have been getting play from their stars (28.1 ppg) and Chris Paul (21.1, 5.2, 5.9) but need production from its role players to seal the deal.
The Golden State injuries are a concern. Four Warrior subs were -29 in just 48 minutes of play. In their two wins, the Rockets shot 80 threes and 87 two-point shots. In their two losses, Houston shot 71 treys and took 95 shot inside the arc. They need to continue to get isolations and knock down shots. The totals has been adjust a full eight points from Game IV. The under is 10-4 L14 in the series and the low is 6-2 in the conference final round., 3-1 low in both series. The under is 6-1 in Golden State’s L7 and the Warriors other than Curry were just 3-14 from downtown.
